Hong Kong Pools

Hong Kong offers pools to fit everyone, whether it be family swimming or just an occasional refreshing dip. Thanks to the mild climate and beaches, having access to a good swimming pool is often seen as essential when moving with children; others simply enjoy taking advantage of one of the city’s public pools – with ever increasing demand, more pools have been constructed over the years; plus there are private ones too!

The Kennedy Town Swimming Complex, for instance, is an impressive new addition to the area, providing modern recreation in what was once a run-down corner of the city. Intended to serve as a social hub, the complex includes an outdoor 50m pool as well as indoor leisure and massage pools as well as an outdoor garden located under its distinctive roof structure.

Sai Kung Swimming Complex is another highly-sought-after public pool, featuring a leisure swimming pool, water slides for kids of all ages and paddling pool – ideal for families. There are sun loungers to lounge around on and an accessible family changing room at this great aquatic facility.

There are three sessions each day at which visitors may access the pool; you may use either coin lockers or bring your own lock for accessing them. Admission costs HK$19 for single sessions or half price for students, children, and seniors who purchase monthly tickets (HK$150 total).

If you are fortunate enough to stay at The Peninsula, take advantage of their luxurious heated pool to take in a gorgeous view of the city skyline while basking in some sun. Inspired by Roman baths for an immersive swimming experience.

Rosewood Hong Kong offers other spectacular rooftop pools as well, like Asaya Pool on the sixth floor of their hotel. Enjoy morning laps while taking in spectacular city views at this infinity pool located on its sixth-floor location – then stop by Asaya Kitchen afterwards for some food or cocktails!

Cordis Hotel’s luxurious pool is another must-see. Soaring high over Mongkok’s bustling streets, its oasis-like atmosphere provides an idyllic respite. Relax in one of its cabanas or even take part in yoga sessions! Unfortunately, however, its sole drawback is being exclusively available to hotel guests; but with Klook’s incredible staycation packages you could soon be enjoying aquatic luxury yourself!
